"One can anyway, only be shown something one knows already, needs already. Showing anyone anything really amounts to removing the last thin film that prevents their seeing what they are looking at." – Denise Levertov
Class One: Reading for yourself
Tarot offers us a mirror to the inner life and it's tremendously empowering to interpret the messages offered to us, through symbolic tools like the tarot, using our own understandings of symbols and mythic stories.
This workshop is designed to help you develop trust in your intuition and your personal relationship with your deck.
As a group, we will explore the tarots traditional and non-traditional meanings, with the understanding, that we are always returning to our own innate connection with the tarots messages. The tarot offers language from our souls. With practice, it is language we can learn to speak with fluency, creating a richer avenue of self-discovery, self-expression and experience through which we can live our lives.
Please bring your favorite 78 card tarot deck, a pen and notebook and a crystal or precious object to charge on the altar.
1 - 4p Sunday the 25th of September
35$ in advance and 40$ the day of class.
Have you noticed that most food labels don’t mention the percentage of the daily recommended value of the sugar content in food products? Sugar is everywhere and we’ve been trained to overlook it, focusing on protein, fat content and calories instead. Do you know how to take control of your sugar cravings to protect your body from the damaging impact of chronic sugar consumption? Are some types of sugar better than others? Do you know how to find hidden sugar in your day to day meals and drinks?
No? No worries! We will explore these questions and discuss alternatives (with recipes) to satisfy most sweet teeth plus ways to create habits that support healthy immunity and balanced blood sugar levels, and healthy weight.
